Meet Christine:

Greetings!

I am Christine Schallhorn - the proud owner of Christine’s Professional Pet Care! I reside in Cottage Grove, MN. Business established in October, 2017.

​

I possess a huge passion and love for animals which started when I was a very young child. I've always gravitated towards animals of all kinds and I have a very natural ability to interact with them, put them at ease, and very quickly gain their trust! Throughout my childhood, I convinced my (not so pet loving) family to acquire various pets over the years! I gained a great deal of experience and responsibility caring for our pets and cherished the companionship and loyalty which pets unconditionally provide!

After graduating from college and beginning my adult life, my love and passion for animals continued to prevail! I have over 25 years of experience owning and caring for pets and countless references who can attest to my very professional, dedicated and meticulous care! I hold the very highest of standards when it comes to the care, love, exercise, training and socialization that happy and healthy pets not only deserve but thrive upon!  I have worked in the pet care business on the side for many years while working as a Sales Professional in Corporate America. I am now very excited to be pursuing my dream of working as a pet care professional on a full time basis - as an established business owner! I am an active member of the Professional Pet Sitters of Minnesota. I am also Certified in Pet CPR and First Aid. Christine's Professional Pet Care is also Fully Insured and Bonded.

I am an avid hiker who absolutely LOVES the great outdoors. I very regularly hike at Regional and State parks in the area. My rescue dog, Myah, is my hiking and workout partner! I also share my home with two rescue cats, Toby and Lexie.  I have adopted various rescue animals over the years and have volunteered at and supported multiple local rescue organizations.
